Fire safety 5 string circuit breaker for PV PEFS-EL40H-10 5MPPT PROJOY PV PEFS-EL40H-10 5MPPT PROJOY - designed to safely and abruptly cut off power to photovoltaic systems in the event of a fault and/or fire. The switch is suitable for mounting on five stringers. In the event of a fire, firefighting crews can be exposed to serious risks due to the current flowing in the PV system (even after the DC switch between the inverter and the panels has been switched off). If firefighters have switched off the alternating current (AC) (for example Wp - 1s alarm breaker) before extinguishing the fire, the PEFS will detect the network failure and after 5 seconds will automatically switch off the isolation switch. The switch should be mounted close to the photovoltaic panel, ensuring a safe environment for firefighters - reducing potential damage and ensuring the safety of the photovoltaic system. The switches can be used directly with photovoltaic panels. The PEFS resets automatically when AC power is restored - the switch will connect the circuit without user intervention.

NOTE: The switch housing must not be placed in direct sunlight or in direct
contact with (continuous) penetrating water.

1. FIND THE RIGHT TIME TO EXTINGUISH FIRE
The PEFS series firefighter safety switch complies with
the international standard working procedure for firefighters. In the event of a fire,
once the AC circuit has been switched off, a quick shutdown switch
will automatically turn off and isolate the photovoltaic panels, so that
firefighters can eliminate the risk of high voltage of the photovoltaic panels
on the roof and gain valuable time to deal with an accident.

2. PV PANELS ONLY
The PEFS series uses the PEDS switch and can be used directly
with PV panel. In the event of a fire, the
firefighter safety switch can quickly shut down the photovoltaic system, without the risk of high DC
voltage. If you want the entire roof to reach an even lower
DC voltage (for instance below 80V ~ 120V), multiple
safety switches (one for every 2-3 panels) can be used for maximum
safety.

3. RESET AUTOMATICALLY

automatically. When AC power is switched off (for instance during a
power outage), the PEFS series will reset
and connect the circuit quickly and automatically. You do not need to
reset it manually each time.

4. NO ADDITIONAL NETWORK REQUIRED AND MORE STABLE
ON-OFF CAPACITY
As compared to ordinary high-speed isolation devices
relying on remote communication technology on the market, the
firefighter safety switch of PEF Projoy series is directly controlled
by an AC circuit that does not require an additional network. It simply
relies on the existing AC power system. Furthermore, the PEFS does not
perform the on/off function via electronic components, but
through an isolation switch with arc extinction function, which disconnects the
DC circuit directly with much greater stability.

5. EXTEND THE LIFE CYCLE OF PV INVERTERS
When Projoy's PEFS product is installed on the system, in the event that
the AC circuit in non-live, for example during an interruption
of the power supply, power line maintenance or grid failure, the
direct current circuit will automatically be switched off. This will significantly
extend the life of PV inverters and make it safer to repair or
replace them.
